I have a few friends on the site and I have gone to their pages and at the bottom it suggests I send a sample as a gift. I noticed on one friend's page it offered to let me send a sample for free. I thought, "Well of course then, why not?" So I sent her a gift sample.
After that, it said to send another sample was 20 points. I thought that meant it would continue being 20 points because only the first one was free.
Weeks later, I happened to another friend's profile and saw it would let me send them a free sample also. I thought maybe it means I can send each friend one freebie before it costs.
After sending a free gift to that friend I went directly to another friend's profile and found that no, it says 20 points there even tho I've never sent that person a gift.
So can anyone explain to me how the gift/sample system works?
I would love to know if there is a rhyme and reason to when what costs how much.
Thank you!

Re: How do the Gift Samples Work?
I don't really know how to explain it better than I did in my post o_o.
If you go to a friend's profile and scroll down you can "send them a gift" of a sample from your wishlist or theirs.
I'm just curious what the rhyme and reason for the prices is. They are free sometimes and sometimes they're not. They cost 20 points sometimes and 100 points sometimes.
Does it ... reset to free after so much time? or if you do a certain thing enough times? or ...
I just want to know how it works. o_o

Yes, sorry. I didn't know that needed to be clarified here. I thought we all bought Adagio on teachat.

Ahhhh, OK ... then my next question is, did you contact them directly? That is usually a better way to get a direct and correct answer since they rarely have time to read TeaChat.Arshness wrote:Yes, sorry. I didn't know that needed to be clarified here. I thought we all bought Adagio on teachat.

If you want, you can post the question under the Adagio forum of TeaChat which they do read more often.
Or maybe a member knows the correct answer.
Re: How do the Gift Samples Work?
I wasn't expecting them to respond.. just thought someone might know. I'll email them instead. I guess I'll report back if they explain it.

I've found them to be quite responsive via email. Please let us know what you learn, I haven't noticed this feature but would be interested in using it.

Dang Chip, if Adagio is that far from your mind, I'd be worried about your job security!Chip wrote:Who's samples are you referring to?

What's Adagio?
In all seriousness, props to Adagio for keeping TeaChat going. This is definitely the best English-language tea board around!

I cannot tell you the last time I spoke to someone from Adagio. They have gotten quite busy doing their thing and I mine.Evan Draper wrote:Dang Chip, if Adagio is that far from your mind, I'd be worried about your job security!Chip wrote:Who's samples are you referring to?
When I do see an Adagio question go unanswered, I do attempt to direct them to it.
TBH, this was the first time I heard of this program.
