Hello! I am scouring the Internet for a cheaper tetsubin, and found this --- if you're here seller my apologies! Can it be salvaged. It looks great, and does not require to import to Japan.
I read here that it can be salvaged, but the pics in the forum did have little rust. Here is the link:

1. you may just keep on use the tetsubin until the water boil is clear and without any smell.
2. If you don't llike the rustly look, just pour some green tea and boil it for 1-2 hours and left it overnight. The whole rust will turn black. Then repeat boiling the water as per step 1.
