Noob wanting some ducksh*t

by DuckSipper » May 2nd, '24, 18:31

Hi all I'm new here today, and very new to loose leaf teas. I've gotten myself a decent gong fu set and some starter teas from Jesse's. Although, I'd like a nicer gaiwan at some point. This was all in an effort to start practicing some mindfulness and meditation, and it's helping. I was wondering if anyone could guide me to a reputable purveyor of ducksh*t?

Welcome!

While we don't carry Ya Shi Xiang I recommend trying Formosa Fancy Bai Hao.

It really depends on your personal taste, especially because it's an oolong tea. Try sample different dark oolongs first and figure out if you like low, medium, or high roast. Low roast typically is closer to a Tie Guan Yin, while high roast is super robust. What people typically outside of China like is low-medium roast.
Loving the stories behind every leaf.
